Wonder - full

So this weekend it was my birthday! Another one hurried along and I can't quite believe how the years are adding up! But it's all good and I'm grateful for everything that's filled the year leading up to it and hoping the next one will bring as many if not more good times and memories along with it too.

Now don't get me wrong, it's not all been a bundle of laughs and there have been moments of sadness and frustration caught up in there too but on the whole I wouldn't change any of it.

We look back and realise that even in and after the tough times we've survived! Rewinding the clock and altering time really would not or could not change anything! We are where we are for a reason. Even if it is uncomfortable we may be there to help someone else's pain.

As we age we often tell each other, "you're looking good... '' with the subtext being;"... for your age. "
I suggest we start changing that to" you're looking wonderful. "It's a good adjective describing something that arouses wonder. 

I wonder what others would think...
I wonder if I did this....
I wonder how others would feel...
I wonder if...

So on it goes! It grows! Its encouraging and uplifting and thoughtful.

Wonder is not owned it is free to all and no one can clip its wings. It can change someone's hopes and dreams. But don't just suppose. Be amazed at all there is and hope that in reaching for it you make your own kind of wonderful. Even if its not quite what you expected. Let it be the simple or the complicated change that makes how you see the world matter more.

I still don't have it all figured out but I won't let that confine me. I will not let others critisize my effort or character. Only I am in charge of me!

Identity, Security and Purpose are all wonderful and what we all seek to find. In doing so, this journey we are all on, travelling at different times, and speeds, start to enjoy the detours, places and people who cross our paths. Each and everyone is there for a reason...

So make it all wonder - full!
